Release notes and versions

Use the release history for version-specific announcements and GitHub Releases for available release artifacts. This page preserves the documentation entry; individual release posts belong to the release-history section, not this document's sidebar.

The current documentation is labeled 1.0.0 development and describes development source. A source manifest version, an archive candidate and a published release are different states. Match installation instructions, configuration and API documentation to the artifact you actually use.
